Sacred Geometry is an independent music visualizer that utilizes the Spotify Web API to immerse listeners in a psychedelic light show.
Since 2018, this project has seen numerous refactors and revisions each aiming to refine the experience and offer a truer interpretation of the music than seen in any other real-time visualizer to date. Unlike other music visualizers that employ randomness to create visual differentiation, Sacred Geometry seeks to present an authentic visual counterpart based solely on audio analysis on a per-song basis. This means that all viewers will witness remarkably consistent visuals when listening to the same song, down to every beat in every measure.
Being tied to the Spotify Web API means that audio can be played back on a different device linked to the same Spotify account, allowing for a wide variety of AV setups. Its deterministic nature also enables the users to join group listening parties and watch the same lightshow, remotely, time and time again.
